Sanitation Protocol
Nurture Bodywork and Wellness, LLC has always followed a strict sanitation protocol to prepare for each client visit. In response to COVID19 and the social distancing requirements set by local government, a few NEW measures have been added. Updated May 2020
AS ALWAYS! Disinfectant Products
Ultracare Disinfectant Concentrate is used to clean all surfaces in the massage room inside Anna Kate and Co. salon where Nurture Bodywork and Wellness, LLC is housed. As of April 2020, there are no disinfectant product labels that specifically list COVID-19. However, the EPA has pre-approved some products, including Ultracare, that are effective against similar viruses. Ultracare is:
· EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectant
· Fungicidal, germicidal, pseudomonacidal, and virucidal
· One-step cleaning and disinfecting
· Effective against 141 organisms in 10-minute contact time
· Non-irritating to eyes and skin, and fragrance-free
**All high-touch surfaces will be disinfected between each client.
**The massage table has a vinyl barrier between the fitted sheet and the table warmer which will be disinfected between each client. Each face cradle also has a disposable barrier under the cradle cover and will be thrown away between each client. The lever and frame will be disinfected after each session, as always.
NEW! Ultra Violet light (UV-C) Room Disinfecting
UVlizer uses ultra violet light (UV-C in particular) and ozone molecules, two things that are naturally present in nature, to eradicate pathogens, germs, and viruses. According to the CDC: "The entire UV spectrum can kill or inactivate many microorganisms, but UVC energy provides the most germicidal effect."
*The UVlizer will cycle for 15 minutes at the end of each day to provide additional sanitation for the massage room.
AS ALWAYS! Laundry
All linens, including the sheets, cover blanket, face cradle will be washed and disinfected on hot water cycle. All linens are changed between each client as always.
NEW! Sarah will begin wearing a face-mask while working and will keep talking to a minimum during sessions. Clients are required to wear masks during session and massages will be done gloved at client request.
AS ALWAYS! Sarah will continue to maintain impeccable hand hygiene which includes washing with soap and water up to the elbows, before and after each session. Fingernails are always clipped and filed as short as possible, and a soft bristle washing brush or washcloth is used.
